The Patent Pending 3Dfier
is a directshow filter that transforms normal video file to 3D in realtime. 3Dfier filter works with popular media players and support various video format as long as the files were played using direcshow.
Here you can download demo versions for evaluation purpose. This demo version runs for around 10 minutes. We are happy to work with 3D display makers/OEMs to customize a filter that works for the specifc display. Anaglyph is not the best way you can view 3D with 3Dfier filter but it is most easily available. 3Dfier works perfectly with side-by-side 3D Displays such as iZ3D monitor. It also works with 3D Vision Video Player and Stereoscopic Player that supports multiple 3D Display devices including Zalman 3D monitor, nVidia 3D Vision, e-Dimensional shutter glasses and 3DTVs. Current version works with most versions of Media Player Classic. It also works with DVBViewer and allows you to watch DVB TV channels in 3D. What's new in 3Dfier v1.0.19

Guys,

This new release will have both algorithm and GUI improvements including the following:

1. 3Dfier Control Panel can now be launched separately and hence can be used to enable/disable and change features independently to Stereoscopic Player/3D Vision Video Player.

2. Merged Anaglyph, side-by-side and interleave to a single release that user can select. Media Player Classic can run for interleaved format but for low resolution video file, still recommend to use Stereoscopic Player/3D Vision Video Player

3. Add an auto-detect input type to "guess" if the input video file is 3D and decide if 2D to 3D should be enabled. This method is suggested by Blackhole's Soul. We would like to thank him for this.

4. Add new motion detect method to increase the object depth. This method might come with a side effect of flickering during scene change and hence we also add an Anti-flickering function.

5. New algorithm to enhance object details and increase 3D effect dramatically. You can see the difference easily with plain 2D cartoons.

6. The new Enhance Detail function has improved the Red-Cyan Anaglyph to an extend that we no longer think Anaglyph is bad for 3D.

maybe i was supposed to install demo over paid version to deactivate demos 10 minute limit???????. If so i have to reinstall it as i removed it to try demo.

@Krogan

I'm in the same boat as you. Except I did install it directly over the old version. The install didn't work correctly and I actually had to run the uninstaller that came with my full purchase version and reinstall the new demo to get it running.

The added scene depth control is nice, but I don't really notice the effect of turning on "Enhance Details" after restarting the files. The anti-flicker as very nice, as before if you would pause at a scene change you would sometimes get a left frame from one scene and a right from another -- obviously annoying and sometimes nauseating. This is the best obvious fix in the new version.

The 3D seems more accurate as well, but since I haven't figured out what upgrades went into the new algorithm it's hard to be sure if the 3D-creation is improved.

Thanks for the solid update, 3dfier team!

Got the most joy with the following settings:
- Enhance Details enabled
- Anti-Flickering enabled
- Adjust Background Depth = 3
- Adjust Scene Depth = Backward

Overall, very impressive real-time 3D conversion.

Hi, I can not download your latest demo version, Can you please send me that.

Thanks

Is there anywhere the clearly defines the difference between scene depth and background depth?

Many thanks for a great product.
